When it comes to using cloud computers safely, SSH keys are like strong and special keys that keep your door locked and safe. This guide will show you how to easily open the door to your cloud computer while keeping everything secure.


After your cloud instance starts running, you'll receive an email containing your SSH connection commands.

The email it will look similar to this:

Note: The key name and IP address in your email may be different from the example above.

  • Now open Terminal on your Mac or Command Prompt / PowerShell on Windows.

  • Paste the commands shown in the email and press Return / Enter.

  • When connecting to the instance for the first time, you may see a message asking you to confirm the server's authenticity - yes and press Return / Enter now you will be connected to your cloud machine.
