How It Began

Our founder, Arun Kumar, spent more than two decades designing, managing, and troubleshooting Oracle database environments for mission-critical systems. Throughout that journey, one challenge remained constant — setting up reliable infrastructure was often more difficult than solving the actual business problem.

 

Along the way, Arun authored multiple books on Oracle Database, helping thousands of professionals build their technical careers. Teaching engineers around the world reinforced one important lesson: people learn and innovate faster when the underlying infrastructure simply works.

 

Knakl was created to make that possible.

 

Behind the scenes, Knakl also benefits from the experience of a founding partner with extensive expertise delivering technology solutions for highly secure government environments. While we don't publicly identify individual partners, the engineering principles developed through work in security-sensitive projects have influenced our approach to reliability, automation, and operational excellence.

 

Together, these experiences shaped a different vision of cloud computing.
